My Resolutions for 2008

As 2007 draws to an end, it’s time to make some resolutions for the coming year. This is actually the first time I’m doing this, so I need to do a lot of catching up. To get a better overview, I’ve divided them into different categories. So here they are, in order of importance:

Family / Friends

  • Make a better effort to help my brother and improve our relationship again. This is definitely the most important and toughest one for me personally. I hope I actually have the strength and willpower to actually go through with it.
  • Work harder on my relationships with my friends/family. I really suck at relationships. This one can probably be broken down into many different sub-resolutions, but I’ll spare you the details.

The Wonderful World of Words
  • Write more, and be less afraid of writing more from within myself. Of course, I’ve been telling myself that for years already. Oh well, maybe 2008 will be different.

Health
  • Eat more fruits and veggies.
  • Eat less junkfood, especially pizza. Damn, I really love pizza, but one large pizza a week is probably too much.
  • Keep working out and keep improving my strength and endurance. I haven’t set any specific targets, but a year from now, I should be able to lift more and run faster and longer than I do now.

Non-mandatory (nice-to-haves)
  • Travel more.
  • Earn more money.
  • Drink less coffee at work.
  • Sleep less. I’ve been doing a lot of sleeping lately.

Of course, it remains to be seen how many of these resolutions I’ll be able to keep. But I had fun writing them, and I guess that’s what truly matters for now :-).

P.S. In case you are wondering, looking for a girlfriend is NOT on the list.

Have to say that eventhough leading quite a my busy life, I've always enjoy reading your Blog.
I'm (especially) not to worried about your goal on "The wonderful world of words" because I can only see improvements in all these years of writing. And have to say that the PS part is good - but word of advsed keep alway from your mum though ;p
